Big Picture’s Freedom Projects

At the end of every year, students at my school have the opportunity to study or create anything they want in the Freedom Project.

The only requirement is that their learnings or creations must reflect a month’s worth of learning, because this project lasts all of May. We get two hours during each day in May during our humanities classes to work on our project, so it’s a lot of time to pursue something big. It’s one of my favorite projects because of the opportunity to create whatever I want.
