Concept

A pavilion for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the base inspired by the patchwork of a soccer ball and roof inspired by the waves in Puget Sound.
Over the summer, I attended Miller Hull’s Open Studio Summer Intensive, a week-long program where students learn more about architecture through design exercises and projects. I collaborated with my partner, Maddie Sweeney, to create this project, a pavilion called The Wave. The concept was a team effort, but the included drawings and models are ones I made.
