I helped create an entryway wall for Viewlands Elementary where the word “welcome” was handrwritten by students and families in 129 languages spoken in the district.

It was an honor to work on one of Mahlum’s main projects. I converted the physical papers that the students wrote on into vector files in Adobe Illustrator, then organized where each sign would go. I had the pleasure of attending Viewland’s opening ceremony in the spring of 2024, where I got to see the welcome wall come to life.
